Cooking can be a lot like working in a lab, and writing a recipe is similar to writing a scientific experimental procedure. It’s no wonder that we feel just as at home when the experimental result is edible!

In editing your recipes, we can:

  • Confirm that ingredient amounts make sense, and that amounts given in multiple units are equivalent.
  • Check that procedures are clearly written, and use all ingredients and equipment listed.
  • Ensure that any headnotes or introductory material are appropriate and well written.
  • Make certain that grammar, punctuation, usage, and spelling are correct.

If your recipes form a cookbook or collection, we can also edit them and any other included material for consistency and flow. If you plan to self-publish your cookbook, we can assist with book design.
